32 in 32-Baltimore Ravens

Well this is my 3rd team post in about 6 days, so I may not accomplish 32 in 32 but I will promise having all teams done by season time. Today I will post on the Baltimore Ravens. Here are my questions…

1. Will Marc Bulger be a good backup QB to help Flacco out?

2. How will the signing of rookie WR David Reed effect the offensive outlook?

3. My Perspective on Michael Oher!!

Well I must start off saying that Marc bulger is definitely the most experienced Ravens QB by far. He has played 9 seasons in the NFL and has completed over 62.1 percent of his career passes. All of those throws equaled up to what now stands on his stats at about 22,815 yards and 122 touchdowns and 92 interceptions. This year as a backup, Bulger will make at least 3.8 million, but with incentives Bulger may earn up to 5.3 million dollars. Bulger threw for over 4,100 yards in ’06 but has been tagged with multiple injuries since. Now on to David Reed. David was a 5th rounder in the 2010 draft and had just finished a 2-year run at Utah University. In just those 2 years Reed racked up 106 receptions and scoring 1,615 yards averaging over 15 yards a catch. Reed scored 11 touchdowns in only 13 games started and set 2 records as a senior for receptions and yards. My perspective on Michael Oher has not changed at all sice I watched the Blind Side as a Football player as a person yes, the movie opened my eyes to a whole new “Big Mike.” This movie was a good thing for him however though, it has brought a lot of attention to him, which I don’t know if he likes or not.

32 in 32-Atlanta Falcons

Well as I said. This is my version of NFL’s 32 in 32 month. Well I’ve done it to the Cardinals. Now it’s the Falcons turn. Here are my discussion questions…

1. Will the Falcons win the NFC south?

2. Will the Falcons have a second consecutive winning season?

3. Last but not least. Matt Ryan Prediction?

Here I go. I predict that the last years Falcons are gone this year. I believe they will be a much better than 9-7 team. Everyone will step up and out of the normal comfort zone and play well. Plus the NFC south has never had consecutive division winners. So the Saints are according to history doomed. I think the Falcons will play a good season and go 12-4 with the division crown and a playoff berth. As I explained in the last answer, I strongly believe that the Atlanta Falcons will have back to back winning seasons. This thinking is because now the players have observed the coaches and know they always have a plan “b” or backup plan so to speak. Now to my Matt Ryan prediction. I think Matt Ryan was not horrible but he was definitly not as good as the QB was in rookie season. He will do much better this year though, knowing that hopefully his offensive line is healthy this year.

Thats my prediction for Falcon. Tomorrow I will evaluate the Baltimore Ravens

32 IN 32- ARIZONA CARDINALS

Well my first challenge since being back in the blogging world, is to break down the 2010 Arizona Cardinals. To start off I have wrote down a list of questions. So here they are.

1. Can Matt Leinart lead the Cardinals to the top of the NFC West?

2.Will the Cardinals still be a playoff team with all of the lost talent of Kurt Warner and Anquan Boldin?

These are the questions I will answer.

So I personally think that Matt Leinart is a good quarterback. I also believe that he is a strong worker and lets just hope he does not get hurt. In the 2009-2010 season Matt had played 8 games, only accumluating 435 yards, with 0 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. I think he will do better however this year because he knows he has the fluent starting job at the quarterback position. I mean everyone likes that reassurence of being a good solid starter right? However I think the best the Cardinals will do is win the Wilcard. Now on too the losses of Kurt Warner hanging up his cleats and the loss of Anquan Boldin to the Ravens. Well last season Kurt Warner had a rocket and threw for almost 4,000 yards and had 26 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. This is a solid QB and I hated to see him leave but he was aging quickly. Especially on the playing field. I think the Cardinals should finish at 9-7 and make the playoffs at a Wildcard. Anquan Boldin recorded over 1,00 yards last year with 4 touchdowns.

Dallas Cowboys Consider Switch in Backfield

The Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones met with the media this week and discussed at the NFL’s annual meeting in Orlando,Fla. That he might start Felix Jones this year over veteran running back Marion Barber. Actually the Cowboys have been discussing this topic of future backfield situation for a while now. In two seasons with the Cowboys, Felix Jones has made only one start and has 146 total carries over that stretch. While there’s no denying that he brings a big-plays to the team with a career average of 6.5 yards per carry, durability has been a question. Felix Jones ended his famous #1 pick rookie season on the Injured Reserve with a toe ailment injury. Although Marion Barber has just signed a 7-year extension 2 years ago, he has to deal with whatever the teamm does with this hard decision.

DT Ndamukong Suh Visits Detroit

Nebraska’s star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh visited Detroit on March 19th. The Lions very well could draft Suh if the Rams dont pick him out first with that #1 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. If the Lions dont want Suh they mind as well trade down their pick in the first round, because if they are not planning on picking up the tackle who had a career-best 4.5 sacks for 21 yards lost and a career-high-tying 12 tackles in the Big-12 Championship game against Texas, they could get two picks for their 2nd pick in the first round. Also in the 2008 season, the stud defensive tackle Suh had a great year with 76 total tackles and 7.5 sacks and was projected as a top pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Suh, however, opted to stay in college for his senior season. Although people called that his breakout year, Suh showed even more talent in 2009 finishing with 82 total tackles, 12 sacks and 26 quarterback hurries. But the huge question now is between 3 choices for Detroit. Do they pick Ndamukong Suh, Gerald McCoy, or trade down their pick and get 2 picks in return. I am very excited to see what Detroit will do with this tempting situation, hopefully they make the right one discision to spare all of us Michiganders Lion Fans.

Vick Rumor

Current NBC broadcaster and former NFL coach with 1 superbowl ring Tony Dungy has spred a rumor to Sports Illustrated that if the Philidelphia Eagles to not choose to keep and pay QB Micheal Vick 5.2 million next year the buffalo bills are a close second pick for Vick. Having a injured Trent Edwards as of this season the Bills have had to go with Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw the ball for their team. So where did Dungy come up with this dark idea? Supposedley Dungy heard the two objects {vick and bills} talked about maybe signing a contract but it never went through. So to find info on this rising story please check back with my blog because when I get news I post it, when others hear rumors they don’t. Please keep up the viewing thanks.

OchoCinco Gone too Far?

Has NFL wide-reciever Chad OchoCinco gone too far. First he changes his last name in relation to his football jersey number 85, then he threatens if no one signed him to go to the AFL, and this past Sunday plays a stupid hijink on the officials by borrowing a dollar from an assistant coach and trying to bribe the ref as he knew it would not work. In my opinion yes he has. Im not the kind of person to say this kind of stuff and criticize but I never liked Chad Johnson/OchoCinco, and it’s kinda sad I had to look up his former last name because no one remembers. Overall I am pretty sure we all knew it was just a publicity stunt in the first place and that is the kind of guy Chad is. Especially after changing his birth name without marrige.. Its just wrong to me.

Lions Disapoint Again?

Did the Detroit Lions actually disapoint Michigan again. I say no. Because from the very start of this NFL season,even from the draft time I did not expect much out of our team this year anyway. Especcialy since our team’s GM went for quaterbacks and offensive picks for our 2 first round choices. I can understand why he wanted a QB but we could have stuck with Daunte Culpepper for all of Mathhew Stafford has done for us this year. So possiblities for this years pick if we had not picked Stafford. Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford, or even Seth Doege. I would have went for defense and still kept Daunte in that #1 spot at QB.
